Our School Counselor, Anya Boynton, was a nominee for the 2023 YMCA Project Cornerstone’s Asset Champions Awards! She was recognized among other wonderful organizations in Silicon Valley for the amazing ways that she supports our students and school community — from being a positive adult role model to leading workshops for parents, students, faculty and staff that opens discussions on bullying, communications and stress. She listens to our students, especially our middle school students, and offers them guidance that is much needed in a school environment. Mrs. Boynton has helped our students to understand the importance of attaining a social emotional balance. Her calm demeanor and voice always makes everyone feels heard and welcome. Congrats, Mrs. Boynton! You are a treasure to SJV! We are lucky to have you and we celebrate YOU!
