A MESSAGE FROM FR. JOE KIM, PASTOR

Dear SJV School Parents and Families,

On Thursday, June 8, Ms. Suty informed me of her resignation as principal of Saint John Vianney Catholic School. After consultation with the Superintendent of Catholic Schools and much prayer and reflection, I accepted Ms. Suty’s resignation on June 12. Ms. Suty’s last day will be June 30.

I am grateful for Ms. Suty’s tireless efforts during the heat of the pandemic to keep our school open and safe. I appreciate her efforts in attracting new families from the larger SJV community and overseeing the beautiful school renovations. I have appreciated working with her in uniting the parish and school as one community.

I am actively working with the Superintendent of Catholic Schools to find a principal who can continue the nearly 70-year tradition of SJV Catholic School. We have several strong, local Catholic school candidates who have been contacted and are now seriously considering coming to SJV.

All school-related inquiries for the 2023-2024 school year can still be directed to Ms. Suty and our school office staff.

Please join me in grateful prayer for Ms. Suty and for our SJV Parish and School Community.

Saint John Vianney, pray for us!

Peace,
Fr Joe KimPastor
